The Book is Finished!
Dear Friends:
I am excited to say that last night I completed the final draft of the book and ordered a final proof. My "test" proof arrived yesterday and I was very pleased with the quality, both print, paper and binding of the finished product.
I am actually, a little bit in stunned disbelief! I can't hardly imagine that just a little over a month ago I conceptualized and had this idea, and trudged ahead to make it happen even though initially I had NO idea of what, how or when it was all going to work out! In the meantime, I got a crash course in desktop publishing, copying and the printing business! Phew!
I believe (---and hope and pray!) that you will be as delighted with the finished product as I am. I did my best to maintain the feel of a pattern book purchased 75 years ago, but with much more clarity. It is ultimately what I had hoped it would be: clear, pleasing to the eye and extremely practical. You can indeed make every one of the 20 aprons featured in the book! Hooray!
Once I've reviewed and received the final proof (probably by early next week) I'll be posting it for sale. Keep checking back! And don't miss out on our blowout end of summer/end of sewing sale in the apron shop!
